About Tuxxedo

What does Tuxxedo do?

Tuxxedo is a group of developers and designers dedicated to extending the web with open-source internet applications - ranging from Weblog software and Bulletin Board Systems to unique applications like Torrent Trackers and RSS feed readers.

All of Tuxxedo’s applications run off the Tuxxedo Engine - a versatile and highly extendable component-based PHP framework. Using this framework creating an application is incredibly easy - anything from a Database Abstraction Layer to a Template Parser to a File Manager can be built using this system with a minimal amount of code. Extensions can be downloaded from our archive and source code is highlly documented.

Who are Tuxxedo

Tuxxedo consists of 3 core PHP developers and a talented graphic designer.

Kalle

Kalle is our lead programmer - he has been working with PHP for over 5 years and has attained a Zend certification. Kalle lives in Denmark and works as a programmer for Denmark Radio.

Emil

Emil is our second (Danish) programmer and is responsible for managing products. He has also been working with PHP for a long time and is a member of the Development Team at ClanTemplates.

Blake

Blake is currently the only designer for the Tuxxedo network - Resides in sunny Australia and is responsible for making our applications and websites easy on the viewers eye.

Ross

Our final PHP programmer Ross is still advancing his PHP knowledge and is mainly in charge of adding requested features and resolving bugs. Ross lives in England, United Kingdom, and plans to study Computer Science at University (some day…).
